Welcome to ReqFly. By downloading, installing, or using our software, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.

1. Software License

ReqFly is currently provided as a free MVP (Minimum Viable Product) for Windows operating systems. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ReqFly for personal and commercial purposes.

2. MVP Status

ReqFly is currently in MVP phase. This means:

  • Features may be added, modified, or removed without notice
  • The software is provided as-is with potential bugs or limitations
  • We are actively developing and improving the software
  • Future versions may introduce breaking changes

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use ReqFly only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Use the software to attack, harm, or disrupt third-party systems
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
  • Remove or modify any copyright or proprietary notices
  • Use the software for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

4. No Warranty

ReqFly is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReqFly and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

6. System Requirements and Permissions

ReqFly requires certain system permissions to function properly:

Windows runFullTrust Capability

ReqFly uses the Windows runFullTrust restricted capability. This permission is necessary because:

  • ReqFly is built with Tauri, requiring a native Rust backend process
  • The application needs to read/write files to your local file system
  • Network operations are required to make HTTP/HTTPS requests
  • Data persistence occurs outside the UWP sandbox for proper functionality

By installing and using ReqFly, you acknowledge and accept that the application requires these permissions to operate. The runFullTrust capability is used solely for legitimate application functionality and not for any malicious or unauthorized purposes.

7. Data and Privacy

ReqFly stores your API collections, environment variables, and settings locally on your computer. We do not collect, transmit, or store your data on our servers. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.

8. Updates and Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of ReqFly after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to ReqFly at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.
